The Story of Our Yarn:
Our flock was shorn by local shearers Will and Chris back in the summer of 2020. The wool was then carefully sorted by Kathryn. Nothing was wasted - the good fleece from our Lleyn ewes was bagged and sent to The Natural Fibre Company in Cornwall for spinning. The fleece that didn't make the grade was composted and used in our Veg patch!
The Natural Fibre company spun our wool into woollen spun DK yarn. Our yarn is available in c.100g skeins, either in its beautiful natural colour or dyed. Our dyed yarn, is hand dyed by Kathryn here on the farm, using natural plant based dyes, most of which are foraged from the farm.
